# IZIPIZI eyewear at Opticnet

IZIPIZI started in France in 2010, when three friends from Lyon founded a brand called See Concept around a simple idea: reading glasses left on the counter for anyone to pick up, like the pen at the post office. Here it has been one of our steadiest sellers since 2018, mostly because it solves exactly the problem of someone who wants comfortable readers without going through a frame and lens fitting. Shapes are marked with a letter and a hash, from #A to #E, rather than with model names, and the ones that move best with us are D, C and E.

IZIPIZI began in Paris in 2010, first under the name See Concept, with a simple idea: reading glasses do not have to be dull or expensive. The name comes from "easy peasy", and that spirit runs through everything the brand makes. What started as colourful, affordable readers grew into a full range of eyewear for the whole family.

Today IZIPIZI covers reading glasses, screen glasses with a light filter for long hours in front of a computer or phone, sunglasses for adults and children, and frames for babies and kids. The frames are light and flexible, come in a wide palette of colours, and are organised into a few clear shapes, so you choose by fit and by mood.

IZIPIZI is a certified B Corp and backs its glasses with a two-year warranty. If you want everyday eyewear that is easy, fun, and well made without a designer price, this is it.

## IZIPIZI collections we keep

- **#D**: The shape that sells best with us, a soft squared outline.
- **#C**: The classic of the range, a rounder outline.
- **#E**: A clean, fine line, very popular over the past two years.
- **Reading**: Reading glasses in ready-made powers, from +1.00 upwards.
- **Screen**: The screen range, for long hours in front of a computer.
- **Sun / Junior**: Sunglasses including polarised, and a full junior range for babies, children and teens.

## Typical price

The showroom price for the IZIPIZI frames we keep sits around 200 ILS, and online it is around 160 ILS. Frame only, without lenses. The price varies by model and stock rotates.

## Choosing IZIPIZI in 2026

With IZIPIZI, start from what you need the glasses for. Reading glasses come in set strengths, usually from +1.0 to +3.0, so pick the power that lets you read comfortably at arm's length; if you are not sure, we will help you check in store. Screen glasses sit at zero power with a light filter, made for long hours in front of a computer or phone.

Shape is the next choice. IZIPIZI organises its frames into a few clear silhouettes, from rounder to more squared, so try a couple against your face; rounder shapes soften strong features, squarer ones add structure to softer faces. The colour range is wide and playful, from quiet black and tortoise to brighter tones, so you can keep it classic or make it a statement.

For sun, IZIPIZI offers regular and polarised lenses, plus sport and kids styles, all with full UV protection. These are affordable, light, and easy to live with, so many people keep more than one pair. Come try a few in natural light at Kikar HaMedina and we will match strength, shape, and colour to you.

## Questions about IZIPIZI

### What do #A, #B and #C mean on IZIPIZI glasses?

They are shape codes rather than model names. Each letter marks a different frame outline, and each outline comes in a range of colours. That is why the same letter can appear in several very different finishes. With us the shapes that sell best are D, then C and E, and it is worth simply trying all three, because the difference between them is immediate.

### What is the difference between ready-made readers and prescription glasses?

Ready-made readers come in the same power for both eyes and without your pupillary distance. They are a convenient and genuinely good solution for reading, which is why they work so well for most people. But if there is a difference between your eyes, astigmatism, or a need for progressives, you need prescription lenses. If you are not sure which case you are, an eye test here will answer it in a few minutes.

### Can I have prescription lenses fitted into an IZIPIZI frame I already own?

In most cases yes, and we do it fairly often. If you bought an IZIPIZI frame and want prescription lenses in it, including progressives, bring it in and we will check that the frame suits the thickness and power involved. At the higher end of the range it is not always advisable, and we will tell you that up front rather than after the lenses are ordered.
