Take your glasses off for a moment and look at the inside of the temple. There is a small row of numbers there. It is the frame's ID card, and in two minutes you will be able to read it, and even measure your own glasses on the screen.

ומה עושה שם הריבוע?What is the little square for?

It says the size was taken one fixed way: imagine a rectangle around the lens and measure it. That way a round, cat-eye or square lens is measured exactly the same way, and they can be compared.

The bridge, the overall width of the frame and how the temples sit on the head all change the feel. With a strong prescription, lens size and shape also affect how thick the lens comes out. That is worth choosing with us.

A metal frame with small nose pads rests on the nose at points, an acetate frame with a fixed bridge rests along it. For a low nose bridge there are models built differently around the nose, so the glasses do not rest on the cheeks.
