YOU MAWO works differently from every other brand in the boutique. Instead of a shelf of finished frames, every pair is made to order: you choose a base model, it is matched to the measurements of your face, and the frame is printed in Germany from polyamide powder by laser sintering, then assembled and coloured by hand. The German company, founded in 2016 in Konstanz on Lake Constance, won the German Innovation Award in gold for this approach in 2018.
Youmawo is a German brand doing something genuinely new. Founded in 2015 near Munich, it makes glasses using 3D printing, building each frame layer by layer instead of cutting it out of a sheet of plastic.
What makes it special is the fit. A quick scan of your face lets Youmawo shape the frame to your exact features, so it sits just right, and the printed material is about a third lighter than normal acetate. The colour runs all the way through the frame instead of sitting on the surface, so it wears well over time.
It is a smart, modern and more sustainable way to make eyewear, and every pair is quite literally made for one face: yours.

Youmawo is unlike any other brand we carry: the frame can be built to your face with 3D printing. If frames pinch your nose, slip, or simply never sit right - this is the most precise answer. The material is about a third lighter than normal acetate, and colour runs through the full thickness.
The process: a quick face scan, personal shaping, then layer-by-layer printing. Ideal if you want technology, a more sustainable method, and a pair that is truly yours.
In 2026 a full colour range and modern finishes are available to order. Book a boutique visit for the scan and walkthrough - fit only makes sense when you experience it. We guide you from measurement to finished pair, including prescription.

המסגרת לא נחתכת מלוח אצטט אלא נבנית שכבה אחר שכבה מאבקת פוליאמיד, בתהליך שנקרא סינטור לייזר. אחרי ההדפסה המסגרת מורכבת, מלוטשת ונצבעת ביד. התוצאה היא מסגרת קלה מאוד וללא תפרים, שאפשר לייצר בדיוק לפי מידות ולא רק במידות מדף.
The frame is not cut from a sheet of acetate. It is built layer by layer from polyamide powder in a process called laser sintering, and after printing it is assembled, polished and coloured by hand. The result is a very light frame with no joins, which can be produced to individual measurements rather than only in shelf sizes.

Every pair is made to order in Germany and the usual production time is around 15 working days from order to arrival. Glazing the lenses then happens here. Worth planning for if you need the glasses by a particular date.

The material is polyamide powder, a light and durable engineering plastic. Colour is applied by hand after printing, which is why the palette is wide and can be matched to the model you choose. We will show you the available shades in the boutique.
